At LanguageBridgeAI, we take privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when our B2B customers use our voice translation services to serve their end customers.
Who This Policy Applies To: If you are a business customer (insurance company, healthcare provider, support organization), this policy governs how we process data on your behalf. If you are an end customer receiving support through our translation service, your data is processed according to your service provider's privacy policy in addition to this one.
1. Information We Collect
When our business customers use LanguageBridgeAI to serve their customers, we collect:
- Business Account Information: Company name, billing contacts, and agent user information
- Phone Numbers: Support agent and end customer phone numbers
- Voice Data: Audio recordings processed for real-time translation
- Call Metadata: Call duration, time, selected languages, session details, and usage analytics
- Payment Information: Subscription billing and usage data processed securely by our payment processor
Data Processor Role: For calls between your agents and your customers, LanguageBridgeAI acts as a data processor on your behalf. You remain the data controller responsible for obtaining necessary consent from your end customers.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use collected information to:
- Provide real-time voice translation services to your support team
- Process and route phone calls between agents and customers
- Bill subscriptions and usage overages
- Provide usage analytics and reporting dashboards
- Improve translation quality and accuracy
- Manage agent licenses and access controls
- Comply with legal obligations and contracts
- Prevent fraud and ensure service security
HIPAA Compliance: For Professional and Enterprise plans, we are HIPAA-ready and will enter into a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) with covered entities. Healthcare customers must execute a BAA before processing Protected Health Information (PHI) through our service.
3. Voice Data Processing
Your voice is processed in real-time by AI translation systems to convert speech between languages. We:
- Do NOT permanently store voice recordings after calls end
- Process audio temporarily for translation purposes only
- Use enterprise-grade encryption for all voice data in transit
- May retain anonymized data for quality improvement
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:
- AI Service Providers: Third-party AI services for speech recognition and translation (under strict data processing agreements)
- Telephony Providers: Services like Twilio to route calls
- Payment Processors: Secure billing partners
- Legal Authorities: When required by law or to prevent harm
5. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including:
- End-to-end encryption for voice data
- Secure database storage with access controls
- Regular security audits and updates
- Compliance with telecommunications security standards
6. Data Retention
We retain data as follows:
- Voice Data: Deleted immediately after call completion (temporary processing only, never stored)
- Call Metadata: Retained for 90 days for billing verification, support, and analytics
- Usage Analytics: Aggregated usage data retained for 12 months for reporting and compliance
- Subscription & Billing Records: Retained for 7 years as required by law and tax regulations
- Account Information: Retained for duration of active subscription plus 30 days
Enterprise customers may request custom data retention schedules through their service agreement.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your call metadata and billing information
- Request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention requirements)
- Opt-out of data collection by discontinuing service use
- File a complaint with data protection authorities
8. Children's Privacy
LanguageBridgeAI is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
9. International Users
Our services are provided from the United States. By using LanguageBridgeAI, you consent to the transfer and processing of your data in the US.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
